Holiday Lighting and Decor for South Hempstead Homes

Beyond roofline and tree lighting, South Hempstead homeowners can add pre-lit wreaths, garlands, pre-decorated trees, oversized ornaments, fiberglass figures and animatronics from our Christmas Decor, Fotodiastasi and Designer Collection catalogs.

Ask anyone who drives through South Hempstead in December and they will tell you the season looks different here. This hamlet on the South Shore, where neighborhoods stretch down toward the bays in the Town of Hempstead has a character all its own, and the best holiday displays work with it rather than against it.

South Hempstead sits close to Baldwin and Rockville Centre, and the same design-first approach we bring to homes across Nassau County applies on every street here.

Adding a little extra sparkle

A pair of wreaths, a lit garland around the door or an oversized ornament on the lawn can turn a nice display into a memorable one.

Browse our holiday decor catalogs to see the wreaths, garlands, pre-decorated trees, oversized ornaments, fiberglass figures and animatronics available, then talk to us about what would suit your home.

Leave the ladder in the garage

We supply commercial-grade, energy-efficient LED lighting and decor, so there is nothing to buy, test or replace. When the season ends, everything goes into our dedicated facility instead of your garage or attic.

You never climb a ladder or untangle a strand. Our crews are trained to work safely on roofs, ladders and lifts, and Christmas Decor by Emerald Magic is fully insured.

Designing around your South Hempstead home

Good holiday lighting starts with the setting. Here is what we keep in mind for homes in South Hempstead:

Think about the view you see most, whether it is pulling into the driveway or looking out the front window, and design for that moment.
Rooflines, windows, trees, shrubs and walkways can be combined in any mix, so the display can be as simple or as elaborate as you like.
Warm white, multicolor or a blend of both: color sets the mood, and it is easy to talk through the options during your design consultation.
Many streets in South Hempstead are lined with capes, ranches, splits and colonials, and each roof style suits a slightly different approach to roofline lighting.
Matching the neighbors is optional. Some homeowners love a classic warm white look, while others want color that stands out on the block.

Lighting a home in South Hempstead

South Hempstead belongs to the Town of Hempstead, one of the towns that make up Nassau County. Set on the South Shore, where neighborhoods stretch down toward the bays, it is an inland community where the focus is on home, school and neighborhood life. Picture classic Long Island neighborhoods and friendly streets, and you have a good sense of the place.

Nearby you will find Baldwin, Rockville Centre and Hempstead. All of that adds up to homes that deserve a display designed just for them, not one copied from the house down the street.
