Holiday Lighting and Decor for North Merrick Homes

Beyond roofline and tree lighting, North Merrick homeowners can add pre-lit wreaths, garlands, pre-decorated trees, oversized ornaments, fiberglass figures and animatronics from our Christmas Decor, Fotodiastasi and Designer Collection catalogs.

North Merrick is a hamlet on the South Shore, where neighborhoods stretch down toward the bays in the Town of Hempstead, and it is one of the many places where Christmas Decor by Emerald Magic brings a little holiday magic to the front of the house each winter.

Whether your home sits near Merrick Avenue or on a peaceful street a few turns away, a custom display can make it the warmest-looking house on the block.

What makes North Merrick special

North Merrick belongs to the Town of Hempstead, one of the towns that make up Nassau County. Located on the South Shore, where neighborhoods stretch down toward the bays, it trades waterfront views for quiet streets and easy access to the rest of the island. Picture friendly residential streets and friendly streets, and you have a good sense of the place.

Neighboring communities include Merrick, North Bellmore, East Meadow and Roosevelt. It is a setting that rewards a thoughtful design, and that is where a little holiday magic begins.

Wreaths, garlands and more

Browse our holiday decor catalogs to see the wreaths, garlands, pre-decorated trees, oversized ornaments, fiberglass figures and animatronics available, then talk to us about what would suit your home.

A pair of wreaths, a lit garland around the door or an oversized ornament on the lawn can turn a nice display into a memorable one.

Design ideas for North Merrick homes

Good holiday lighting starts with the setting. Here is what we keep in mind for homes in North Merrick:

Warm white, multicolor or a blend of both: color sets the mood, and it is easy to talk through the options during your design consultation.
Rooflines, windows, trees, shrubs and walkways can be combined in any mix, so the display can be as simple or as elaborate as you like.
Many streets in North Merrick are lined with capes, ranches, splits and colonials, and each roof style suits a slightly different approach to roofline lighting.
On a typical suburban lot, the roofline, a front tree or two and the shrubs along the foundation make a complete, balanced display.
Think about the view you see most, whether it is pulling into the driveway or looking out the front window, and design for that moment.
