Holiday Lighting and Decor for North Haven Homes

Beyond roofline and tree lighting, North Haven homeowners can add pre-lit wreaths, garlands, pre-decorated trees, oversized ornaments, fiberglass figures and animatronics from our Christmas Decor, Fotodiastasi and Designer Collection catalogs.

There is something about a December evening in North Haven that makes a lit roofline feel just right. The village sits out on the South Fork in the Town of Southampton, and its homes make a wonderful canvas for holiday lighting.

Drive along Route 114 in December and you can see how much a few well-lit houses add to the season. The quieter streets just off the main road are where many of our favorite displays shine.

Planning a display that suits North Haven

Before a single strand goes up, we look at the house, the yard and the street. For North Haven homes, that usually means thinking about the following:

A waterfront house is seen from two sides, the street and the water, so it pays to think about how the display looks from the shoreline as well as the driveway.
Think about the view you see most, whether it is pulling into the driveway or looking out the front window, and design for that moment.
On a deep lot the view from the road can be a long way from the house, so the design often starts at the entrance and builds toward the front door.
Salt air and winter storms come with living near Sag Harbor Bay, one more reason the proactive maintenance included in our service matters.
Formal architecture usually looks best with a refined palette, letting wreaths, garlands and clean warm white lines do the talking.

Wreaths, garlands and more

Browse our holiday decor catalogs to see the wreaths, garlands, pre-decorated trees, oversized ornaments, fiberglass figures and animatronics available, then talk to us about what would suit your home.

A pair of wreaths, a lit garland around the door or an oversized ornament on the lawn can turn a nice display into a memorable one.
