Design ideas for Franklin Square homes
Before a single strand goes up, we look at the house, the yard and the street. For Franklin Square homes, that usually means thinking about the following:
Rooflines, windows, trees, shrubs and walkways can be combined in any mix, so the display can be as simple or as elaborate as you like.
Many streets in Franklin Square are lined with capes, ranches, splits and colonials, and each roof style suits a slightly different approach to roofline lighting.
Matching the neighbors is optional. Some homeowners love a classic warm white look, while others want color that stands out on the block.
Warm white, multicolor or a blend of both: color sets the mood, and it is easy to talk through the options during your design consultation.
The front door is where guests pause, so a wreath or garland there adds a finishing touch to the whole display.
