Holiday Lighting and Decor for East Hills Homes

Beyond roofline and tree lighting, East Hills homeowners can add pre-lit wreaths, garlands, pre-decorated trees, oversized ornaments, fiberglass figures and animatronics from our Christmas Decor, Fotodiastasi and Designer Collection catalogs.

Every Long Island town has its own personality, and East Hills is no exception. Sitting along Long Island's North Shore in the Town of North Hempstead, it has the kind of homes and streets that come alive once the lights go up in December.

Like neighboring Roslyn and Roslyn Heights, East Hills has homes that look wonderful dressed for the holidays, and each display is planned around the house it goes on.

Designing around your East Hills home

Good holiday lighting starts with the setting. Here is what we keep in mind for homes in East Hills:

Tall evergreens make natural focal points, and lighting one or two well often looks richer than lighting every tree halfway.
Warm white, multicolor or a blend of both: color sets the mood, and it is easy to talk through the options during your design consultation.
On a deep lot the view from the road can be a long way from the house, so the design often starts at the entrance and builds toward the front door.
Larger properties invite a layered design: the roofline and entry first, then the driveway, gate posts, specimen trees and garden beds.
Wooded lots get dark early in December, so lighting along walkways and the driveway does double duty as decoration and a welcome mat.

What to expect, start to finish

What makes East Hills special

East Hills belongs to the Town of North Hempstead, one of the towns that make up Nassau County. It sits along Long Island's North Shore, away from the shoreline, with neighborhoods that feel settled and comfortable. Around town you will find grand homes on generous lots, tree-lined streets and friendly residential streets.

Nearby you will find Roslyn, Roslyn Heights, Greenvale and Old Westbury. It is a setting that rewards a thoughtful design, and that is where a little holiday magic begins.

Coverage for East Hills homeowners
